ABOUT US
Welcome to Mid-Cities Scholars where we believe in the uniqueness and value of each child we serve. We pride ourselves on low student teacher ratios to ensure your child receives the one-on-one attention he or she deserves. We believe children have limitless potential when placed in the proper environment, which is why we promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through genuine care.

OUR CORE PRINCIPALS
Our center is based on three core principles:
OUR
We are family owned with small children of our own. Like most parents, we simply want an enriching, loving, and safe environment for our children to grow. We are not a large, corporate entity or a franchised chain. We are simply parents who see the need to put the "care" back into childcare.
Our teachers greet parents and close relatives by name; we understand the importance of building trust in childcare settings. We are child-focused, and we believe children learn through playing and exploring their surroundings within a structured environment. We offer a safe, nurturing, and clean space to foster children’s development, and we are committed to showing respect to each child through a warm, encouraging, and caring attitude. |
COVID-19 |
We have taken significant measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our Mid-Cities Scholars family. This includes daily deep cleanings and frequent wellness checks of our children and staff. Given that our center already maintains teacher/child ratios lower than state mandated standards, we have adjusted quickly to social distancing protocol as established by the Centers for Disease Control. The health and safety of those in our center will always be our top priority, so please contact us if you have questions about our response to COVID-19.
